Action taken against driver training school owner

OLYMPIA—The Department of Licensing recently ordered Diamond Driving School of Puyallup owner Sean Probst to give up his ownership interest in the Puyallup driving school. This school is located at 316 East Pioneer in Puyallup.

The order, dated June 30, 2005, also requires Probst to give up his ownership interest in any other driving school he is involved with and prohibits him from having any ownership interest in a commercial driver training school for a period of six months.

It was found that in 2002, Probst allowed two people to provide instruction to students attending Diamond Driving School of Puyallup without being licensed as commercial driving instructors.

Probst, also a licensed driver training instructor, will be allowed to keep his current instructor license.
