Power outages close some DOL driver licensing offices and customer service call center

OLYMPIA—Several Western Washington Department of Licensing (DOL) driver licensing offices have reported power outages that will prevent them from opening today, Friday, December 15. These offices are:

• Bothell
• Forks
• Friday Harbor
• Kirkland
• Oak Harbor
• Port Townsend
• Shelton
• White Salmon

DOL staff from these offices will spend the day helping in nearby Driver Licensing Offices.

A power outage affecting West Olympia has forced the closure of DOL’s customer service call center and the West Olympia Master License Service Counter.

Many local vehicle licensing offices also are closed due to power outages. Customers planning a visit to a local vehicle license office may wish to call first to make sure it is open.
