Chelan Driver Licensing Office moving

CHELAN — Chelan County residents are advised that the Chelan Driver Licensing Office located at 317 E. Johnson Ave., Chelan, will be closed. The Department is working to secure a new location for this office and will re-open as soon as possible.

The last day of service at this location will be Thursday, May 28, 2009, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The phone number is (509) 682-5511.

Many transactions, including renewing your driver license or requesting a duplicate driver license, can be done online at www.dol.wa.gov. If you must visit an office in-person, you may go to:

• Wenatchee Licensing Services Office
  325 N. Chelan Ave., Ste B, Wenatchee
• Omak Licensing Services Office
  646 Okoma Dr., Ste E, Omak

The Wenatchee and Omak offices are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 to 5 p.m.; Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
