ILWACO — Pacific County residents are advised the Ilwaco Driver Licensing Office, located at 116 First Ave South, will no longer be open on Thursdays, beginning October 29.
New hours of operation at this location are Tuesday and Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Customers can conduct many routine transactions, such as driver license renewal and ordering a duplicate driver license, online at dol.wa.gov.
This change is for driver license services only and does not affect vehicle licensing operations.
The reduction in office hours comes as part of Governor Chris Gregoire’s 21st Century Government plan to save money by reducing some licensing service hours around the state, and increasing self service options.
Questions can be directed to our Customer Service line in Olympia at (360) 902-3900, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
