Morton Driver Licensing Office reducing service hours

MORTON —Lewis County residents are advised the Morton Driver Licensing Office, located at 346, State Route 7, is reducing its service hours from five days a week to three days a week, beginning October 31.

New hours of operation at this location are Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Customers can conduct many routine transactions, such as driver license renewal and ordering a duplicate driver license, online at dol.wa.gov.

This change is for driver license services only and does not affect vehicle licensing operations.

The reduction in office hours comes as part of Governor Chris Gregoire’s 21st Century Government plan to save money by reducing some licensing service hours around the state, and increasing self service options.

Questions can be directed to our Customer Service line in Olympia at (360) 902-3900, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
