OROVILLE — Okanogan County residents are advised the Oroville Driver Licensing Office, located at 821 Apple Way, is reducing service hours from three days a week to two days a week, beginning October 26, 2009. New hours of operation at this location will be Monday and Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Customers can conduct many routine transactions, such as driver license renewal and ordering a duplicate driver license, online at dol.wa.gov.
This change is for driver license services only and does not affect vehicle licensing operations.
The reduction in office hours comes as part of Governor Chris Gregoire’s 21st Century Government plan to save money by increasing self service options and reducing some licensing service hours around the state.
Questions can be directed to our Customer Service line in Olympia at (360) 902-3900, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
