WAC 308-125-120: Fees and charges.
We are proposing an increase in real estate appraiser fees to defray the costs of administering the real estate appraiser program. Fewer people have entered the profession than projected, and licensees have opted not to renew due to market conditions and new restrictions within the industry. There has also been an increase in consumer complaints, which will increase the need for funding for staff training, investigation, and legal support. For more information, see:
