How to renew your certificate: Firms
As of July 1, 2011, the Business Licensing Service at the Department of Revenue processes renewals of certificates of authorization for architect firms. The certificate is linked to your state business license.
How to renew
- Renew online:
- Use the password listed on the renewal notice.
- Pay with a MasterCard, Visa, or American Express credit or debit card (gift cards not accepted).
- Online license renewals will be unavailable May 18–21, 2012.
It’s important that you finish partially-completed renewals before May 18, or you’ll have to start over. The system should be available again May 21. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- Renew by mail. Send all of the following to the address listed on the notice:
- Your renewal notice.
- A check or money order for the renewal fee, payable to the Department of Revenue.
