How long licenses are valid

All licenses are good for 1 year.

If you received a renewal notice in the mail, use the envelope provided to send us:
- All the required information, as listed on the renewal notice.
- A check or money order for the fee (payable to the Department of Licensing).
If you didn’t receive a renewal notice in the mail, follow the directions for getting a license.
