When to renew
You must renew your auctioneer or auction company license every year.
How to renew
If you received a renewal notice in the mail and your license is about to expire or has expired:
- Submit all of the following:
- The bottom portion of the renewal notice.
- A check or money order for the fee (payable to the Department of Licensing).
- A completed Financial Certification Affidavit. The form is included with your renewal notice, or you can find it on page 3 of the Auctioneer/Auction Company Registration Application.
- Use the envelope provided to mail the renewal notice, affidavit and fee to:

If you didn’t receive a renewal notice and your license is about to expire or has expired:
- Submit all of the following:
- A letter that includes:
- Your name.
- Your current mailing address.
- The type of license you’re renewing.
- Your license number or birth date.
- A completed Financial Certification Affidavit. The form is included with your renewal notice, or you can find it on page 3 of the Auctioneer/Auction Company Registration Application.
- A check or money order for the fee (payable to the Department of Licensing).
- Send the letter, affidavit, and fee to:
