Renew your license
Renewals notices are mailed 45–60 days prior to the expiration date. Renewal notices are a courtesy and it is your responsibility to renew on time.

If you didn’t receive a renewal notice, complete the Bail Bond Agent License Application, mark the appropriate renewal box, and submit the application with the fee.
Transfer your license
- If you’re transferring a license that will expire within 60 days, send us:
- A completed Bail Bond Agent License Application, marking both the transfer and renewal boxes.
- The renewal fee.
- If you’re transferring a license that has already expired, send us:
- A completed Bail Bond Agent License Application, marking both the transfer and late renewal boxes
- The late renewal fee.
Note: If you’re unsure of the expiration date, look up your license status or contact us.
