What does the board do?

The Cemetery Board licenses and regulates 145-150 cemeteries in Washington. It does NOT regulate:

• church cemeteries.
• cemeteries operated by counties, cities, towns, cemetery districts, or other government entities.
• abandoned or historic cemeteries.
