How to renew your license: Collection agencies

You must renew your license every year. We will mail you a renewal notice about 6 weeks before your license expiration date at the mailing address we have on file.

How do I renew my license?

1. Provide the name and telephone number of a contact person at the licensed location.
   • If you have a Collection Agency License, the contact person for offices in Washington State must be a resident of Washington.
   • Failure to list the contact information will delay the renewal of your license.
2. Submit the appropriate fee.
   • If you have an Out-of-State Collection Agency License, the renewal fee can be waived if your home state doesn't require fees of non-resident, out-of-state agencies.
3. Mail your renewal and fee to the address on the renewal notice.
