Verification for state cosmetology licensing boards

Due to facility issues, this licensing program has limited operations. There may be delays in responding to requests. We apologize for the inconvenience. We’re working toward resuming all business operations as soon as possible.

License certification

As of August 1, 2013, we no longer provide license certification letters to states to confirm license status, education hour completion, or examination results. States may Search Business and Professional Licenses online to find:

  • Current license status.
  • Date the license was first issued.
  • Types of licenses and endorsements held.
