- Finding: Directly solicited passengers who hadn’t been prearranged and dispatched from the limousine carrier’s business office.
- Action: Fined $1,000.
October 2011
Asema Y. Mebrat, dba Sound Town Car Service (UBI #602-638-249) — Seattle
- Finding: Told the public he could provide taxicab transportation services by providing an immediate rental of his vehicle.
- Action: Fined $1,000.
August 2011
Fikret Mehir Manashirov d/b/a Washington Star Towncar — Bellevue
- Finding:
- Conduct.
- Committed of an act involving moral turpitude.
- Involved in an hit and run accident.
- Action: License revoked for 5 years from the date of the order.
July 2011
Saleem Robinson, dba Star’s VIP Towncars, Inc. — Seattle
- Finding: Provided limousine services to the public without being licensed.
- Action: Fined $1,000.
June 2011
Kevin Timothy Williams, dba Excalibur Limousine, LLC — Renton
- Finding: Advertised Mercedes E320s as limousines when they weren’t eligible for licensure, and provided limousine services to the public in a vehicle that wasn’t licensed or insured.
- Action: Fined $4,000.
May 2011
Mohamed Abdalla Salah, dba Moh’s Luxury Towncar (UBI #602-627-545) — Seatac
- Finding: Failed to comply with a November 2010 disciplinary order and pay the $2,500 fine.
- Action: License revoked.
Star’s V.I.P. Towncars Inc. (UBI #602-532-010) — Seattle
- Finding: Failed to comply with a September 2010 disciplinary order.
- Action: License revoked.
