You must renew your license every 2 years. Your renewal must be postmarked by the license expiration date.
To renew your license, submit all of the following items:
- A new, completed Driver Training School Instructor License Application.
- The renewal fee (check or money order payable to the Department of Licensing).

You must renew your license every year. Your renewal must be postmarked by the license expiration date.
To renew your license:
- Pass an annual inspection of your school.
- Provide proof of vehicle registrations for all the vehicles used at your school.
- Provide a copy of your insurance documents.
- Complete a Driver Training School License Application and mail it to the address on the form with a check or money order for the renewal fee (payable to the Department of Licensing).
