Curriculum: Real estate educators

Each curriculum is approved by the Real Estate Commission to satisfy education requirements in RCW 18.85.101 and RCW 18.85.111.

Brokers

• WA Real Estate Fundamentals
  This course meets the requirements for taking the broker’s examination under RCW 18.85.101.
• Real Estate Practices
  This course meets the requirements for taking the broker’s examination under RCW 18.85.101.
• Advanced Practices
  This course meets the state requirements for taking a first renewal under RCW 18.85.101(2). This course must be completed between the time the first license is issued and the time the active license is renewed.
• Real Estate Law Curriculum and Learning Objectives
  This course meets the state requirements for taking a first renewal under RCW 18.85.101(2). This course must be completed between the time the first license is issued and the time the active license is renewed.

Core Curriculum

• Current Issues in Washington Real Estate
  This course meets the state requirement under WAC 308-124A-790 for renewal. A core curriculm course must be completed within 24 months of the license renewal date.
• Current Issues in Washington Commercial Real Estate
  This course meets the state requirements for renewal under WAC 308-124A-790. You must complete a course designated as including the prescribed core curriculum within 24 months of your renewal date.

Managing Broker

• Advanced Real Estate Law Curriculum and Learning Objectives
  This course meets the state requirements for taking the managing broker’s examination under RCW 18.85.111.
• Business Management
  This course meets the state requirements for taking the managing broker’s examination under RCW 18.85.111.
• Real Estate Brokerage Management
  This course meets the state requirements for taking the managing broker’s examination under RCW 18.85.111.

Transition Course

• Transition Course
  This course meets the state renewal requirements under RCW 18.85.481(2) for those who became licensed before July 2010. This course must be taken before the first renewal date after July 1, 2010.
