Education providers are required to give a student evaluation form to each student who takes a distance education course. The providers must maintain these evaluation records for a period of 5 years. The Real Estate Education Committee has updated its
recommended evaluation form. Areas shaded gray are mandatory to be included in your evaluation form.
An amendment will require the applicant to demonstrate how the provider determined the number of clock hours requested for course application approval.
The Real Estate Education Committee purposely did not specify a required methodology to allow primary providers an opportunity to develop creative and innovative solutions for determining clock hours requested. However, the committee did provide guidance to staff that for approval, the
Distance Education Delivery Method Approval Application must include a stated methodology for how the applicant arrived at the number of clock hours being requested and include evidence that the applicant used an independent third party to determine and verify the clock hours requested.
