News updates: Tattoos, body piercing, and body art

New law requires licenses starting July 1, 2010

The 2009 legislature passed Substitute Senate Bill 5391, requiring licensing for tattoos, body piercing, and body art. Over the next year, we will develop rules for this new law. For more information, see New Licensing Law for Tattoo, Body Piercing, and Body Art.
