Tobacco products retailer
A Tobacco Products Retailer License is required for each location at which tobacco products other than cigarettes are sold at retail.
Post your license
A license must be posted at each location where the licensee operates. You may not begin this business activity until you receive a Registrations and Licenses document listing the required license.
How to apply
Online
- Complete a Master Business Application online and pay with a MasterCard, Visa, or American Express credit or debit card (gift cards cannot be used).
- Filing online isn’t recommended for some businesses. See the list of businesses that shouldn’t file a Master Business Application online for details.
By mail
- Complete all of the following forms:
Master Business Application- A separate Personal/Criminal History Statement for each of the following:
- Sole proprietor and spouse.
- Corporate officers.
- Partners and spouses.
- Limited partners who hold more than 10% interest in the business.
- Financiers.
- Limited liability company members or managers.
- Stockholders that hold 10% of the issued stock.
- Mail your completed forms with a check or money order payable to “Washington State Treasurer” for the fees to:
