Scrap processor

Businesses that maintain a hydraulic baler and shears or shredder to recycle salvage from wrecked titled or registered vehicles must have a scrap processor license. Each business location must be registered separately.

License plate requirements

• Each vehicle used to conduct business must have a Scrap Processor license plate.
• Each location must maintain separate license plates for vehicles used at that site.

Forms you’ll need

• Master Business Application with all the necessary signatures.
• Vehicle Transport/Disposal Addendum (Complete section 1,4, 5, 6, and 7.)
• Vehicles Used to Conduct Business
• Weighing and Measuring Devices Addendum
• If the business is a Profit Corporation, a Corporate Information form.
• If the business is a Limited Liability Company, a Limited Liability Company Information form.
