Vehicle transporter

If you transport motor vehicles that aren’t owned by you or your company over any roads in Washington, you must have a vehicle transporter license.

License plate requirements

When you transport vehicles, you must have separate license plates for each vehicle driven under its own power.

Forms you’ll need

• Business License Application with all the necessary signatures.
  • Make sure the description of your business in Section 3F also describes the customers your business serves.
• Vehicle Transport/Disposal Addendum
  • Complete Sections 1, 2, 5, and 6.

• If the business is a Profit Corporation, Corporate Information form.
• If the business is a Limited Liability Company, Limited Liability Company Information form.
