Vehicle transporter

If you transport motor vehicles that are not owned by you or your company over any roads in Washington, you must have a vehicle transporter license.

License plate requirements

When you transport vehicles, you must have separate license plates for each vehicle driven under its own power.

Forms you’ll need

• Master Business Application with all the necessary signatures. (Note: Make sure the description of your business in Section 3F of the application also describes the customers your business serves.
• Vehicle Transport/Disposal Addendum (Complete sections 1,2, 5, and 6.)
• If the business is a Profit Corporation, a Corporate Information form.
• If the business is a Limited Liability Company, a Limited Liability Company Information form.
