Frequently asked questions

What is a Quick Title?
It’s a certificate of ownership that you can get immediately at an eligible office or by mail. It’s faster than a standard title, which can take several weeks to arrive in the mail.

What’s the cost?
It’s $50 plus other fees and taxes due at the time of the transaction. For a complete list, see our vehicle licensing fees.

Are they available for all vehicles or boats?
No, they’re not available for:

  • Snowmobiles.
  • Vehicles/boats reported as stolen.
  • Insurance or wrecker destroyed vehicles/boats.
  • Vehicles with a ”WA rebuilt“ brand on the title.

Where can I get one?
By mail or visiting a Quick Title location. However, if you don’t need your title immediately, you can get, update, or replace a standard title at any vehicle licensing office.
