4-H license plate

4-H plates

4-H license plates may be purchased by any Washington State vehicle owner. They are available for passenger vehicles, trailers, and motorcycles, and may be transferred from vehicle to vehicle.

How to apply

  1. Complete a Special License Plate Application.
  2. Contact your local vehicle licensing office to determine the exact cost of your 4-H license plates, including all licensing and service fees.
  3. Submit your completed application and fees:
    • In person at a vehicle licensing office.

There are no special requirements for renewing 4-H license plates. To renew, pay all licensing fees plus $30 and:
