Washington State Parks plates
Washington State Parks plates are available for passenger vehicles, trailers, and motorcycles, and may be transferred from vehicle to vehicle.
How to apply
- Complete a Special License Plate Application.
- Contact your local vehicle licensing office to determine the exact cost of your state parks license plates, including all licensing and service fees.
- Submit your completed application plus all appropriate fees:
- In person at a vehicle licensing office.

How to renew
There are no special requirements for renewing State Parks license plates. To renew, pay all licensing fees plus $30 and:
- Renew online.
- Renew in person at a vehicle licensing office. (An additional service fee may apply.)
- Renew by mail, following the instructions on your vehicle renewal notice.
