Update your license: Home inspectors

We have a new online service for managing professional and business licenses. Learn how to set up account access. If you need help with the new service, please contact dolelicensingsupport@dol.wa.gov or 360.664.0200, option 7.

We expect a processing delay for mailed applications and renewals. Renew or apply online for faster processing of your license. Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience.

What you’ll need

  • A SecureAccess Washington (SAW) account to apply online

Update your name

  • Send an email or letter requesting the needed change.
  • Include official proof of the name change, such as a marriage license, court document, or copies of both your old and new driver licenses.
  • An updated license will be sent to the primary address on file within 2 weeks.

Update your contact information

Online

  • Log in or sign up to update your contact information online.
  • You can print a copy of your updated license for free.
  • You can pay a $5 license print fee to have a copy mailed to you.

By mail

Send the following:

  • A letter requesting the needed change.
  • A check or money order for the $5 license print fee (payable to the Department of Licensing).

Order a duplicate license

Online

Log in or sign up to print a copy of your license.
