Update your license: Home inspectors
What you’ll need
- A SecureAccess Washington (SAW) account to apply online
- If you don't have one, you'll be able to create one before you start.
- For help visit How to set up account access.
Update your name
- Send an email or letter requesting the needed change.
- Include official proof of the name change, such as a marriage license, court document, or copies of both your old and new driver licenses.
- An updated license will be sent to the primary address on file within 2 weeks.
Update your contact information
Online
- Log in or sign up to update your contact information online.
- You can print a copy of your updated license for free.
- You can pay a $5 license print fee to have a copy mailed to you.
By mail
Send the following:
- A letter requesting the needed change.
- A check or money order for the $5 license print fee (payable to the Department of Licensing).

Order a duplicate license
Online
Log in or sign up to print a copy of your license.
By mail
Send the following:
- A letter ordering the duplicate license.
- A check or money order for the $5 license print fee (payable to the Department of Licensing).
