Motorcycle Training Promotional Drawing
This promotion is sponsored by the Washington State Department of Licensing’s Motorcycle Safety Program (Sponsor) located at 1125 Washington St. SE, Olympia Washington 98507.

Promotion will also be advertised through materials distributed at motorcycle dealerships. No purchase is necessary to enter this drawing. Entries are limited to one entry per-person per calendar year. The promotion is open to all Washington State residents and military personnel stationed in Washington. Must be 16 years of age or older to enter. Winners under 18 must obtain legal parent/guardians permission to utilize the prize if selected. Employees of the Washington Motorcycle Safety Program are not eligible to enter this promotion.
Promotion periods will be:
- January 1 to March 31,
- April 1 to June 30,
- July 1 to September 30, and
- October 1 to December 31.
Drawings will be held 4 times per year on the second Thursday of the following months: January, April, July, and October. All entries received during the current promotion period will be eligible for the drawing. To be eligible for the drawing, entries must be received no later than: 11:59 PM of the last day of the promotion period. Sponsor reserves the right to end this promotion at any time following the end of a promotional period.
5 prizes will be awarded per promotional period. Winners will be awarded a certificate valued at the current rate at any Washington State approved motorcycle training and testing school on an approved Washington State Motorcycle Safety Program Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced motorcycle training license endorsement course. Prizes cannot be substituted and are not transferable and will expire one year from the date of issuance.
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Winners will be randomly drawn from a list of qualified entries. Winners will be notified by phone or email within 14 calendar days of the end of the promotion drawing. Winners need not be present to win. Unclaimed prizes may/will not be re-awarded. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the sponsor (DOL) and its agencies to use winner’s name and/ or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting the prize winner agrees to hold sponsor, its agencies, affiliates, stakeholders, agents, and employees harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the promotion or acceptance or use of the prize. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
If for any reason the internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this promotion, sponsor reserves the right to at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the promotion.
