Can I contest or appeal the suspension?

You may appeal the suspension within 15 days from the date on your notification letter. The letter we sent to you includes a form for you to appeal the suspension.

What will be considered during my appeal?

The Hearings Officer will consider the following issues:

  • Whether we have sufficient cause to take action against your driving privilege.
  • Whether you are able to establish any of the following:
    • The condition does not exist.
    • The condition has improved.
    • That you can safely operate a motor vehicle in spite of the condition.
