Because your scores can’t be entered until we’ve created a record for you, you can’t take a knowledge or driving test until you’ve applied with the Department of Licensing for a driver license or instruction permit. To apply:

Fees

First driver license	A $35 application fee and $45 licensing fee to the Department of Licensing. and An additional testing fee to the driver training school where you take your tests. These testing fees vary. Please check with the school to find out how much they charge.
Instruction (learner’s) permit	A $25 application fee to the Department of Licensing. and An additional knowledge test fee to the driver training school where you take your tests. These testing fees vary. Please check with the school to find out how much they charge.
