How to get your license: Real estate branch office

We will not process applications or renewals from June 19 through June 28.

Our new online Professional and Business Licensing service launches June 29. Using our new online service is the quickest way to get your license. We expect a delay in processing mailed applications and renewals.

Who needs a license?

Each real estate branch location in addition to your firm license.

Requirements

A branch office for a real estate firm must:

  • Be authorized by the designated broker.
  • Have the same Unified Business Identifier (UBI) number as the firm.
  • Be established under the name of the firm.
  • Have a managing broker licensed for the branch office who is endorsed as a branch manager.

How to apply for a license

  1. Complete the Real Estate Branch Office License Application, following the instructions on the form.
  2. Submit your completed application with a check or money order for the fees (payable to the Department of Licensing):
