Renewal notices

We mail renewals notices 45-60 days before the license expiration date. Renewal notices are a courtesy and it's the responsibility of the licensee to renew on time.

If you don't receive a renewal notice, complete a Private Security Guard License Renewal Application, mark the appropriate renewal box, and submit the application with a check or money order (payable to the Department of Licensing) for the fee.
